What is °µÍø½ûÇø Preview?
°µÍø½ûÇø Preview is a free, open house event designed for high school juniors, high school
seniors, and transfer students who want to learn more about °µÍø½ûÇø and what we have to
offer our students. It will also give you the opportunity to attend sessions led by
staff from academic departments, tour campus, learn about admissions, housing, financial
aid, scholarships, and much more. If ever there was a day to explore °µÍø½ûÇø and learn
about all things Mean Green, it's °µÍø½ûÇø Preview!
How should I prepare for °µÍø½ûÇø Preview?
Explore our °µÍø½ûÇø Preview website where you’ll find helpful information on how to register,
take a look at the schedule of info sessions, and other tips that will help you be
prepared when you arrive and ready for the fun!
Are you offering application fee waivers at this event?
Yes! Students interested in enrolling for Spring 2026, Summer 2026 or Fall 2026 who
have not applied prior to event day are eligible to receive a waiver of the application
fee. Our Enrollment Station will be open from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., so make sure you
stop by to complete your application. Our team will be available to assist you. Your
application fee waiver will be processed 5-10 business days after the event. (Note: event fee waivers cannot be retroactively applied to applications submitted
before event day. Students are encouraged to begin their Apply°µÍø½ûÇø or CommonApp profiles
prior to event day and finish their application with us to receive the waiver.
Is it true I can be admitted at °µÍø½ûÇø Preview?
Yes, we are offering on-the-spot admission decisions as long as you have submitted
your online application by Thursday, Nov. 6. Freshmen applicants should bring an official
copy of their high school transcript in a sealed envelope for evaluation. Transfer
applicants should bring official transcript(s) from every college or university they’ve previously attended. Once we have your official academic
records, we will review them on the spot and let you know what your admission decision
is.
Can an academic advisor evaluate my transcripts at °µÍø½ûÇø Preview?
Unfortunately, transcript evaluation will not be offered at °µÍø½ûÇø Preview. However,
you will have a sit-down credit evaluation with an academic advisor from your major
once you have been admitted and attend !
Will there be anyone I can talk to about scholarships and financial aid at °µÍø½ûÇø Preview?
Yes! The °µÍø½ûÇø Student Financial Aid and Scholarships Office (SFAS) will provide information
sessions to cover the basics of the financial aid, how to complete the FAFSA, and
scholarship opportunities at °µÍø½ûÇø.
Can I go to °µÍø½ûÇø Preview in lieu of Orientation?
°µÍø½ûÇø Preview is not an Orientation session. All new students are required to attend a New Student Orientation
prior to their first semester at °µÍø½ûÇø. Please visit the for more details.
Where can I ask questions to help me navigate during the event?
Everywhere! Look for the bright yellow vests — these are our friendly °µÍø½ûÇø student
volunteers here to guide you through your °µÍø½ûÇø Preview experience. You can also ask
and faculty or staff member for assistance — just look for a green polo, green name
