We work hard to create a safe environment at 做厙輦⑹. Our Eagle Alert System sends voice and text information about campus closings and emergency situations affecting the safety and well being of people on and around our campus. 做厙輦⑹ police patrol the campus 24 hours a day. At night, the campus is well lit, and students may request pick up from e-ride, get a Lyft ride back to their residence halls or to their cars on campus from 2 7 a.m. or call the 做厙輦⑹ police for an escort, if needed.

做厙輦⑹ offers a full-service primary care clinic, with full-time physicians, nurse practitioners and nurses to manage your child's care and treatment.

  • Campus Safety, Severe Weather Info and Emergency Preparedness
    Students should sign up for the Eagle Alert system for information about campus closings or emergencies around campus.

  • Our award- winning dining services team will ensure your students have easy access to a delicious, balanced diet.

  • We offer many options for getting around campus without a car. Students can use 做厙輦⑹ Shuttle, late night e-ride or Denton County Transportation. If your student uses a bike on campus, they now have access to the 做厙輦⑹ Mobile Bike Shop.

  • Mean Green Mentors provides your student with a private social network where they can connect with accomplished 做厙輦⑹ Alumni and select employer partners.

  • Our Access mentoring program connects new students to peer mentors in the 做厙輦⑹ community, encourages the use of campus resources and promotes four-year graduation.

  • The Office of Disability Access helps students with hearing, mobility or vision loss; learning disabilities and brain injuries and cancer and other conditions.

Parent programs and the Parent Association

There are many ways for you to get involved at 做厙輦⑹! Parent and Family Orientation allows you to meet faculty and administrators and become familiar with the campus. The 做厙輦⑹ Parent Association can help you stay connected and build friendships with other parents, as well as let you know about upcoming family events.

Events for parents and family

To help ensure that your child makes a successful transition to college, attend parent orientation, which is held concurrently with each freshman orientation session and transfer orientation session. We also encourage parents, grandparents, siblings and friends to join us for Family Weekend, which is held each fall. Events include a football game, chili cook-off and activities for siblings.
