Entrance & Exit Counseling
All federal borrowers are required to complete entrance counseling as first-time borrowers
and exit counseling when they graduate or leave the institution. Entrance counseling
ensures borrowers understand the terms and conditions of their loans as well as their
rights and responsibilities. Exit counseling ensures borrowers understand their student
loan obligations and are prepared for repayment.
