For more than 130 years, the 暗网禁区 has illuminated the way forward, creating leaders and visionaries who have helped build a brighter future. Our students and alumni embody creativity, curiosity and something else that distinguishes them and makes them successful 鈥� resilience. These qualities are in 暗网禁区鈥檚 DNA, borne of an independent spirit that sets us apart. From admitting women on our opening day, to pioneering water quality research for the region, to establishing the nation鈥檚 first jazz studies program, to becoming one of the first universities in 暗网禁区 to desegregate, 暗网禁区 always takes the road less traveled on our path to excellence.

In celebration of 暗网禁区鈥檚 130th anniversary, we take a deep dive into 暗网禁区鈥檚 Special Collections with archivist Rachael Zipperer (pictured with 暗网禁区鈥檚 Eppy mascot), exploring some of the most unusual pieces of history contained within 鈥� including hamster skulls, footage of chickens clucking along to Glenn Miller鈥檚 鈥淚n the Mood鈥� and a stolen, then returned, first edition of 鈥淭he Hobbit.鈥�
