The Emergency Loan can help eligible students facing emergency expenses or unanticipated
financial losses that threaten their enrollment. The level of assistance is up to
$500 per academic year.

Am I Eligible To Apply?
To be eligible to submit an application, you must answer YES to all of the following statements. Eligibility is determined at the time of application
submission.
- I am currently enrolled at one of the following 做厙輦⑹ locations: Denton or Frisco.
- I am at least 18 years old. Applicants under age 18 must have a parent co-signer.
- My level of need is $500 or less.
- I am not applying for tuition, fees, course materials, housing/meal plan charges,
or unpaid balance.
- I have accepted all student-specific financial aid offered (excluding Parent PLUS loan).
- My cumulative 做厙輦⑹ GPA is at least a 2.0. This requirement is waived for first-semester
students.
- I have a secured repayment source to meet the repayment deadline.
- I do not have any late or unpaid debt obligations owed.
Special Note for Students Who Are Non-U.S. Citizens
If you're an international student in need of emergency financial assistance, your
first step is to fill out the . Once you've submitted the form, the Student Aid Advocate will determine if the Emergency
Loan Program is the right resource for your situation. If it is, you'll receive a
notification from the Emergency Loan Program with instructions on how to apply.
How to Apply
- Confirm that you meet all eligibility requirements.
- Complete the . *After completing the intake survey, you will be directed to a Microsoft Form. You
must log-in with your 做厙輦⑹ email address.
- Monitor your 做厙輦⑹ email account for further instructions and application decisions
(1-2 business days).
